Starting therapy can feel both hopeful and nerve-wracking. It is so courageous, bold and deeply personal. The reasons people seek out support are totally unique to each individual. You could be going through a break up; feeling unsure about the choices you are making; moving into the next phases of life (marriage, children, deciding not to have children); experiencing fertility challenges; pregnancy loss; or attempting to balance raising a family and caring for aging parents.
So many of us have been hurt in relationships- with parents, siblings or friends- and therapy provides the unique opportunity to heal within a relationship. So, it has to be a good fit for you to feel comfortable and for therapy to take off. Please look around my website, read about me, how it works, and if you think we might be a good fit, contact me and we set up a time to talk on the phone. In this initial conversation you can tell me more about what's going on in your life, what you are needing help with, your hopes for therapy, ask any questions about me or therapy in general, and get a sense of how it might feel to work together. And if it feels right, we can schedule our first session.
